Logotopos is for the teaching of language phenomena, based on the curriculum of the first year of high school.
A series of lessons for teaching Greek, based on the curriculum of the first year of high school, established by the Pedagogical Institute.
The educational software has been developed in two levels:
a. the teaching level, accessed by clicking on the park games,
b. the communication level, accessed by clicking on the park island
At the teaching level, the user is able to access three pedagogical approaches for learning each language phenomenon:
a. Exploration, in which he/she experiments with texts and exploratory exercises, in order to deduce the rules of each language phenomenon,
b. Theory, for the analytical approach of the language phenomenon and
c. Exercises, for the consolidation of the teaching material, which is represented in a game-like way and incorporated in the language park.
The user can access any approach, at any time. "Logotopos" offers the teacher the opportunity to add his/her own exercises, maintaining the same user interface.
At the communication level, the objective of the program is the communication of pupils between and within schools, for the creation of composite assignments and their involvement in various activities (question-hunting, exchange of opinions etc.), based on the thematic areas of the teaching texts.
The pupils have the opportunity to access an electronic library in which related texts, pictures, videos and sounds have been integrated in order to enrich their knowledge and at the same time assist them in their composite assignments.
In this program, cultural education acquires an intra-cultural nature, due to the fact that cultural information on various ethno-cultural groups is included in the electronic library.
